I wonder

Sometimes I get the feeling that there are people in this country really wanting to do away with everyone who is poor, homeless, elderly, ill, and just not willing to be a sheeple. Do you ever get that feeling? 'They' are really pushing it especially in Nevada with their 'do not feed the homeless in parks' law. How does one know if someone is deliberately feeding a homeless person, or not just sharing something with a fellow park enthusiast? Why punish people who are wanting to help another human being. (I guess that's why 'they' won't advocate any kind of cease fire It's the humanitarian thing to do in order to 'discuss' possibilities.) And why are 'they' pushing legislation for women's rights back to the 50's. I remember working with a woman who's daughter died from a back-alley coat-hanger abortion. Do the men making lesgislation really want a Stepford community? Do they feel so threatened by a woman having a right to make decisions for herself? Why do I feel like I've been there, done that?? What do my grandchildren have to look forward to?
Sorry - had to get that off my chest. It bugs the hell out of me to hear about what is going on in the world, and I feel so helpless and useless in all this. Why is there such a low price on human life these days? Or on basic humanity? Oh, questions questions questions. Problem is, I probably know the answers deep inside and they aren't what I want to see, hear, feel, know.

Gotta go. My 'puter keeps refreshing the page - I think it has a bug or something, although nothing ever shows up on my scans.

Anyways, have a happy weekend. Enjoy the music below. I really am having fun with it..

Enjoy the weekend

About the size 2 thing

In reference to my last post, I started thinking about things. Well, I didn't just start thinking about it, just finally wrote something about it. You know, when you think about something you can change your mind, but when you write it, it's different. Anyway, in thinking about all the marketing hoopla and the weight loss ads and the models we are supposed to replicate (?), seems to me that the world really just wants a bunch of little girls to play with. A world of Barbies? Do we have a bunch of pedophiles running the show here? What's with that?

I don't understand this

I was just watching a commercial about a chick who was so excited to have lost so much weight that she was now a size 2. ???? I spent most of my adult life trying to make it from a size 2 to a size 6. So now I'm almost 62 yrs. old, and I finally look like an adult woman, wear a size 8, have boobs and a butt and clock in at 120 lbs. Can't tell you how happy I am. I just don't get it.

New discovery

I discovered the joys of putting video on the web. Oh Halleluyah!! So I spend hours looking up music I want to use, and I decided that Bruce will make the grade. I saw him on PBS the other night, and this song got me clapping away, and jumping up and down and dancing all over the place. Hey, maybe you can do the same thing. Some joyful movement.
