I'm sorry, but I'm definitely not offended when Santa rings out with his HO HO HO.
What's with all of you peoples??!! Please please get a life. He doesn't say Ha Ha Ha, it's Ho Ho Ho. Don't know about you, but no one's called me a ho lately. Pretty soon you'll want him to slim down because he's offensive to fat people (oops, I shouldn't say the f word - sorry, overweight people).
What does offend me is the latest Burger King commercial showing angry moms wanting to 'off' the king because he makes a sandwich that's better than theirs are. Now that is truly offensive. Why would anyone make a commercial with violent moms wanting to kill someone - never mind that it's over a stupid sandwich. What are we trying to teach our kids. No, it's NOT funny!! Now that's offensive.

Sorry folks. Will look for another version.

My rant for the day
I am so sick and tired of everyone having to apologize for anything they say that might offend someone in this universe, or for anything they might do that is funny that might offend someone in this universe. What ever happened to free speech and the right to laugh at ourselves. Oh yeah, I forget, the shrubs and the bushes get in the way of our sight and we can no longer express what to many is just funny. If we can't laugh at ourselves, damn....get a life, people!!
I was lucky to grow up in a city with many different cultures and ethnic backgrounds represented. I had black friends, white friends, German, Polish, Italian, Jewish, Irish, Catholic, Protestant. We ALL joked about ourselves, laughed about ourselves, and we all knew it was about certain truths that were part of our lives and heritages. I can't remember any of us being offended, since we ALL laughed out loud and told the jokes about our own.
So what's the deal, peoples. Someone cut off your laughing buttons? Someone say you cannot ever say in humor what is sometime truth without offense? How did Don Rickles ever make it in this world? Or Johnny Carson, for that matter. What ever happened to calling a spade a spade?? And how dare you impose your own moral code on mine!!! I happen to think mine is pretty good, probably even better than yours since I wouldn't even dream of imposing mine on you.
Okay, I'm done for right now. There will probably be more.
I just had a birthday - a real Halloween baby - born during a full Blue moon many eons ago.
:-)
I can rant all I want.
So there!
Have a great November.
