It's Been Soooo Long

Haven't been here for 2 years. Wow!! How time flies when you're having fun. NOT!! Two years ago I brought my mom and stepdad to CO from FL to live. Packed up their 2400 sq. ft. house iin 5 days, got the movers lined up, bundled them up, and went from tropical climate to snow in 4-1/2 hours. He had been sick - his kids around but no one helping either of them, so they were basically alone, both in their 80's. She was in hospital and I went to take care of her. Finally said - Enough!! I can't travel back and forth each time you are not well. Either here or......

So we're in CO. He took ill on New Year's Eve, went to hospital on New Years Day, left us on the 31st. We knew it would happen, just not as quickly as it did. So now to get her back to some kind of functioning health. Trying to do that and maintain some kind of personal life. Yeah, right!! Haven't had that in 2 years now. Everytime there's a hint of my having a life, boom! something happens. Pneumonia, back pain, headaches, a fall, etc. etc. Well, finally got the health issues sorted out. Pain under control - as long as I don't have a life it is (that's how it feels). My own health issues crop up when I don't live my life as I need to. So two years of my own health going down the drain. Finallly getting that under control for myself, and whammo!! The back pain is back......
